John 4

4 - Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 - So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph.  6 - Jacob's well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well.  It was about noon.  7 - When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, "Will you give me a drink?" 8 - (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)  9 - The Samaritan woman said to him, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman.  How can you ask me for a drink?" (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.)

15 - The woman said to him, "Sir, give me this water so that I won't get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water."  16 - He told her, "Go, call your husband and come back."  17 - "I have no husband, "she replied.  Jesus said to her, "you are right when you say you have no husband.  19 - The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you "now" have is not your husband.  What you have just said is quite true."  

Point #3 - The Dilemma

25 - The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming.  When he comes, he will explain everything to us."  26 - Then Jesus declared, "I, the one speaking to you - I am he."

"Jacob," he answered.  28 - Then the man said, "your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome."

Point #1 - Pray about your problem!

- Do you pray about it before you present it?

- Attack the problem, not the person.

Point #2 - Don't assume it can't be completed.

Nehemiah 2:20 - I answered them by saying, "The God of heaven will give us success..."

- One of your greatest attributes will be to see success!

Numbers 13:30 - Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, "We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it."

- Do you bring confidence to your company?

Point #3 - Learn to separate your sadness.

Nehemiah 2:1... I had not been sad in his presence before...

"If you bring nothing but drama to the table, don't be surprised if everyone else gets up from the table and leaves."

Point #4 - Value the Vision!

Nehemiah 2:6 - Then the king, with the queen sitting beside him, asked me, "How long will your journey take, and when will you get back?" It pleased the king to send me; so I set a time.
