Our church has been and remains a community where new stories are being written for people’s lives each week. Stories of marriages saved and strengthened. Stories of addictions being broken. Stories of emotional healing and hope restored. But life isn’t just a story of victories, but rather a culmination of experiences that God uses to shape us into who we are. Our name captures that both sides of your story matter and everyday is another opportunity to live your story and begin life again. Where Life Begins Again is more than a slogan for us. Where Life Begins Again is an invitation for people to experience second, third, fourth, and fifth chances in their faith, their relationships, and with their God-given purpose. It’s a challenge to each of us to pursue God daily and start each day with a new mindset leaving behind the past and pressing onward each day toward God’s purpose for our lives. Our hope is that Storyside would continue to be a place where people feel safe, encouraged, and challenged to daily pursue God’s purpose for all areas of their lives. “Both sides of the story matter. Joseph - Matt 1:18 - The birth of Jesus Christ came about this way: After His mother Mary had been engaged to Joseph, it was discovered before they came together that she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
19) So her husband Joseph, being a righteous man, and not wanting to disgrace her publicly, decided to divorce her secretly.
20) But after he considered these things, an angel of the Lord suddenly appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because what has been conceived in her is by the Holy Spirit.
21) She will give birth to a son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins."
22) Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
23) See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name Him Immanuel, which is translated "God is with us."
24) When Joseph got up from sleeping, he did as the Lord's angel had commanded him. He married her.

Belief in the right things will cause stability

Faith - the belief in things hoped for in things unseen
Fear - the belief in things un-hoped for in things unseen
The report you believe is more important than the news you receive
Fear will rob you of your destiny and keep you stuck in an emotional, unstable stance in your life!
Instability issues are usually caused from weakness in your core!
Psalms 112:6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken; thy will be remembered forever.
7) They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord.

Hebrews 10:25 - Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord's coming is getting closer.

Luke 24
1 - On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb.
2 - They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
3 - but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 - While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them.
5 - In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead?"...
6 - He is not here; he has risen! 'Remember how he told you', while he was still with you in Galilee:
7 - 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'"
8 - Then 'they remembered' his words.
9 - When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.

1 Corinthians 9
25 - all who compete in the games use strict training. They do this so that they can win a prize - one that doesn't last. But our prize is one that will last forever.
26 - So I run like someone who has a goal. I fight like a boxer who is hitting something, not just the air.
27 - It is my own body I fight to make it do what I want. I do this so that I won't miss getting the prize myself after telling others about it.
- What would the enemy love you to miss?
Point #1 - Sin

- Sometimes you "miss it" when you feel you're "missing out".
James 1
14 - Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away.
15 - These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death.
16 - So don't be mis-led, my dear brothers and sisters.
- If you give in to temptation and desire, then sin is born. If you give in to sin long enough, it overpowers you and costs you your life.
- What are you allowing to grow?
