Our name captures that both sides of your story matter and everyday is another opportunity to live your story and begin life again. Where Life Begins Again is more than a slogan for us. Where Life Begins Again is an invitation for people to experience second, third, fourth, and fifth chances in their faith, their relationships, and with their God-given purpose. It’s a challenge to each of us to pursue God daily and start each day with a new mindset leaving behind the past and pressing onward each day toward God’s purpose for our lives. The House
Acts 3:
1 - One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer - at three in the afternoon.
2 - Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
3 - When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 - Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!"
5 - So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 - Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."
7 - Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong.
8 - He jumped to his feet and began to walk.

... bringing a hundred pounds of embalming ointment made from myrrh and aloes. Together they wrapped Jesus' body in a long linen cloth saturated with spices, as is the Jewish custom of burial.

55 - The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it.
56 - Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.

Empty - Silent Saturday
Matthew 27
57 - That evening a rich man named Joseph, a follower of Jesus from the town of Arimathea, came to Jerusalem.
58 - Joseph went to Pilate and asked to have Jesus' body. So Pilate gave orders for the soldiers to give it to Joseph.
59 - Then Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth.
60 - He put Jesus' body in a new tomb that he had cut out of a wall of rock, and he rolled a very large stone to block the entrance of the tomb. Then Joseph went away.
61 - Mary Magdalene and the other woman named Mary were sitting near the tomb.
62 - The next day, the day after Preparation Day, the leading priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate.
63 - They said, "Sir, we remember that while that liar was still alive he said, "After three days I will rise from the dead."
64 - So give the order for the tomb to be guarded closely till the third day. Otherwise, his followers might come and steal the body and tell people that he has risen from the dead. That lie would be even worse than the first one."
65 - Pilate said, "Take some soldiers and go guard the tomb the best way you know."
66 - So they all went to the tomb and made it safe from thieves by sealing the stone in the entrance and putting soldiers there to guard it.

Don't underestimate the toll that is taken when you are abandoned.
Mark 14:50 - Then all of His disciples abandoned Him and fled.
A profound price is paid when you are abandoned by those closest to you.

The Hand Off
Transferring of the baton in this race is typically blind. The outgoing runner reaches a straight arm backwards when they enter the changeover box, or when the incoming runner makes a verbal signal. The outgoing runner does not look backwards, and it is the responsibility of the incoming runner to thrust the baton into the outstretched hand, and not let go until the outgoing runner takes hold of it.
The 10 Meter Acceleration Zone
Another line is marked 10m further back, marking the earliest point at which the outgoing runner may begin (giving up to 10 meters of accerleration before entering the passing zone.)

21 - Jesus got into the boat again and went back to the other side of the lake, where a large crowd gathered around him on the shore.
22 - Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet,
23 - pleading fervently with him. "My little daughter is dying, "he said. "Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live."
24 - Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him.
35 - While he was still speaking to her, messengers arrived from the home of Jairus, the leader of the synagogue. They told him, "Your daughter is dead. There's no use troubling the Teacher now."
36 - But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, "Don't be afraid. Just have faith."
38 - When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.
39 - He went inside and asked. "Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn't dead; she's only asleep."
40 - The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl's father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.
41 - Holding her hand, he said to her, "Talitha koum," which means "Little girl, get up!"
42 - And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed.
